It starts …

 

As some of you might remember, back in the day I used to be quite the monkly blogger … quite the feat when one considers that I was out in the stix of Isaan (Thailand’s upper ‘North-East’ side) without a regular internet connection … or even regular electricity for that matter! 

 Although forever a monk at heart, it’s back to lay-life again for the time being – a time, perhaps, to look at the Dharma from a different perspective … well, at least for a bit anyway! Blogging was always a bit of a hobby really, albeit one I persued at a somewhat leisurely pace, and yet it was one that inspired me to look deeper into my own practice as a means of both clarifying things I thought I’d already gotten to grips with and also to share my thoughts and experiences with others. 

 Having left my previous blog behind in the mists of yesteryear, my hope is that A Drifting Cloud will pick up where I left off … maybe recounting some of some of my adventures and lessons along the way but probably nothing special … just the musings of one walking the path …
